ORANGES: A DISAMBIGUOUS AMBIGUITY
Disambiguation is the process of resolving the conflicts that arise when a potential article title is ambiguous because it refers to more than one subject covered either as the main topic, or a subtopic. For example, the word "Orange" can refer to a chemical causing a particular flavor associated with a citrus fruit, a citrus fruit itself, a color in the visible spectrum of colors, and many other things. Using color as the sole determinant of function, worth, or similarity for a group of items is a prejudice that is ever present in the American psyche.
